If you were to tell 15 year old Melissa that she would become someone who loved public speaking, she would have called you a liar.
Public speaking, like the majority of the population, was always a huge fear of mine growing up. In fact, I used to pretend to be sick in grade school just so I wouldn't have to give presentations. But, thankfully, a lot has changed since I was 15.
Conquering that fear has become something I am incredibly proud of. Not only am I no longer afraid of public speaking, I actually thrive off of knowing I'm able to help others achieve their goals by sharing my experiences and expertise. |
